As one of the most experienced Sport and Exercise Physicians in the country, Neil brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in all areas of Sports Medicine.
Neil continues to consult on all acute and chronic injuries and he welcomes all referrals from across the Hunter region.
Dr Jin Lee

Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician
Jin is a Sports Medicine Physician who specializes in treating musculoskeletal injuries and medical conditions related to sports in the Newcastle and Hunter Region. He has experience working with professional athletes from various sports and provides tailored management plans for those recovering from concussions.
Dr Luke Dan
B Med, FRACGP
Sport and Exercise Medicine Registrar
Dr. Luke Dan is a GP with expertise in sports medicine, dermatology, and mental health. He has worked with professional sports teams, including the Sea Eagles and the Knights, and enjoys various sports activities in his free time.
Alina Garland
Practice receptionist
Alina is our receptionist, heading up the front desk at Hunter Sports Medicine Specialists.
Alina has lived in Newcastle her whole life (not counting the four years lived on a 56 acre farm in the middle of nowhere – Wauchope). Having worked in the hospitality industry for years, she sought a change in scenery and has since started in medical administration as of October 2021.
Alina has a passion for animals great and small (except insects) and she will always greet you with a big smile as you enter the doors of our practice.
